Retail Therapy
FootballCynic is doing a tour of club shops and where better to start than Chelsea? As FootballCynic was considering the purchase of a Petr Cech replica balaclava, duly signed by the big man, he found a miniature replica of a 150 foot Petr Cech, which apparently can be seen for real in Vienna.
Of course, there were no such delights in the Doncaster Rovers club shop. The most exciting item there was a retro replica shirt, which looked like the current shirt, but was made of the sort of material that flags are made of. Of course, FootballCynic is no vexillologist, but you get the point.
For supporters of the mighty Manchester United, you can stay in your armchair, go online and order a "teamskin". The blurb tells you that you can "wear it like a sock". And what is it? A sort of tattoo that you can wear and take off as you please. So, you can look tough and hard, at least to the short-sighted, on match days, but don't get your mates at work giving you a hard time.
