Chelsea fans hoodwinked
You have to laugh. Avram loses out on the big pot because his captain can't stand up to take a penalty - and, of course, is sacked. And now, Scolari heads out of town with a nice cheque for his failure to make the overpaid wotsits perform. John Terry has confirmed that there was a dressing room split, but he supported the unemployed Brazilian. You have to wonder how much Drogba's one goal has cost both the club and the poor fans who forked out for shirts with his name on the back, but we can assume the Ivorian wasn't behind Scolari.
We will never know whether Chelsea would have won the Champions League under Scolari, but drawing at home to Hull City was too much for the billionaire stain on English football to stomach. So, now they have that well known South Korean, Guus Hiddink, and it will serve them right if Sven ends up there in the summer after Hoodwinked's apparent short term tenure. So, who's supporting Martin O'Neill's Aston Villa who are Chelsea's next league opponents? Hands up. My hands are higher than those of Tony Adams in his playing days, who curiously played in that game when England hammered Hiddink's Holland. It's a funny old game, Stain.

If you google "stain on English football", you only come out fifth Mr Cynic. I'm sure you aspire higher than that, but you're well beaten by Eric Cantona, Thaksin Shinawatra, Martin Taylor (think Eduardo), and MK Dons collectively. No sign of Roman at all! (FootballCynic writes: It depends whether you put the "stain on English football" in quotes or not. FootballCynic is delighted to be in such company.)
