No putting the Brakes on yet

Football and spa towns do not go together. Even the residents of Cheltenham might admit to that. Since the demise of Scarborough, there's little to cheer about around the country in the spa towns when it comes to football. However, one of the more successful sides this season is Leamington FC in the South Midlands League. They have chiselled out 14 wins and 1 draw from their league games and life couldn't be better. In their last match the Brakes, as they are known, defeated Bury Town to pull further clear at the top. Bury Town must not, of course, be confused with Bury in the Football League or Team Bury, which is even more successful than Leamington, having achieved 7 straight wins from 7 league games in the Essex & Suffolk Border League. So, here's a cheer to the boys from the Midlands spa town - we hope things keep turning out well at The New Windmill ground (while they grind out more wins) and the brakes don't go on their fine run.

Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Cheltenham FC is all about passion. Forget the fact that we are spa town, there is real passion here. So - Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Have you ever been to Cheltenham? (FootballCynic replies: Enough of your half-hearted comments. Of course, Cheltenham is a football backwater. And, yes, I have been to Cheltenham. My ex-wife mistakenly directed me there when we were heading to Chippenham)
