The ten to watch

Having just ticked off another day on the official FootballCynic calendar, an air of excitement has started to fill the offices of FootballCynic.com. We are now less than three weeks away from the big kick off. And expectations will be high around the country as the big day approaches. FootballCynic sees no reason why the anticipation is not high even amongst last season's failures. So, we've decided track the ten teams that failed to gain 0.25 points per game last season. And here they are -Cirencester United, Markyate, AFC Wallingford, Whitworth Valley, Merrow, Downton, Marcham, Haughley United, Eton Wick and Adur Athletic. Last season this fine bunch between them managed 11 wins, 16 draws and 295 defeats with a goal difference of -1111 - that's an average loss of 3.45 goals per game (not too bad really!). Their away results produced 6 wins as opposed to 5 home wins. So how will these 10 perform in the new season? FootballCynic will, of course, keep you fully informed as our "ten to watch" kick off their seasons soon. Below Adur Athletic's Ladies show the chaps what winning is all about.
